The Salt Lake Temple is a worldwide icon of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  The massive granite, six-spire edifice was constructed over the course of a 40-year period between 1853 and 1893.  It is currently undergoing extensive repairs and updated engineering.  The temple stands as a testament to the pioneer’s faith and devotion.
